Rites On Tuesday At Doyen Funeral For Mrs. Schulte

Funeral services for Mrs. Frank Schulte, 66, were held Tuesday afternoon, December 1 at 2 p.m. at the Doyen Funeral Home. Rev. Eric Biedermann, pastor of the American Lutheran Church of Grundy Center officiated at the service.

Mrs. Schulte, nee Selma Elizabeth Reiger, died Saturday morning at the Grundy Co. Memorial hospital of a kidney ailment. She had been confined at the hospital for twelve years suffering from multiple sclerosis.

She was born to Mr. and Mrs. Henry Reiger at Mountain Lake, Minnesota. She was married to Frank Schulte and to this union one daughter, Eulalia was born.

Survivors are the husband who is now confined to the Lawn City Nursing Home at Cedar Falls, one daughter, Mrs. Art Neessen of Dike and three grandchildren. One brother, Henry Reiger of Stewartville, Minnesota and a step-brother, Wm Burk of Grand Marias, Minn. besides a number of other relatives and friends are also among the survivors.

Pall bearers were Martin Ross, Harry Johnson, Fred Johnson, Richard Neessen, Dick Eilderts and Harold Schulte. Interment was made in the Colfax Center Presbyterian church cemetery.
