Funeral Services For Frank Roberts

Funeral services were held at the Dahl Funeral home in Cedar Falls last Monday afternoon for Frank Ethan Roberts, 73. Burial in the Fairfield Lutheran cemetery northeast of Dike.

Mr. Roberts passed away quite unexpectedly at his home last Saturday morning of a heart condition.

He was born Aug. 15, 1891 on a farm near LaCrosse, Wisc., the son of George and Minnie Etta Roberts. He moved to Iowa at an early age.

He was married to Hattie Theimer in Moore, Okla. on Feb. 21, 1917. The couple had lived and farmed on the same farm northeast of Dike for the past 42 years.

Preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Fred; and a son, John, who was killed during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. August Klemp of Waterloo; a son, William, Cedar Falls and three sisters, Mrs. Burl Brown of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Mrs. Harold Johnson of Chicago and Mrs. Nita Kappelman of Dike.
