Mrs. Carl Moeller Dies In Hospital
Mrs. Carl (Lillian) Moeller died last Wednesday in Allen hospital, Waterloo. Death was due to cancer. She had submitted to surgery a short time before her death in the hope of checking the cancer. She was 65 years old and for many years had been active in the social and business circles of Reinbeck. Her husband died a number of years ago. She had remained active in the community until a few months ago when her health started to fail. She was taken sick in Biloxi, Miss., where she had gone to spend the winter.
Mrs. Moeller's maiden name was Lillian Eldridge. She was born in Tomah, Wisconsin, March 26th, 1899, and grew up there and was married there to Carl Moeller. Following their marriage the couple made their home in Reinbeck and spent the remainder of their lives there.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Presbyterian church in Reinbeck. Burial was in the Reinbeck cemetery. The French funeral home had charge of the arrangements.
Surviving are two brothers and one sister. The brothers are Lloyd Eldridge, Beloit, Wis., and Warren Eldridge, Rockford, Ill. Miss Irene Eldridge is the surviving sister.
