Services Held For George Jensen

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, May 26 for George Jensen, 80, who died of complications incident to advanced age, Friday evening in the Cedar Falls Lutheran home.

He was a retired farmer living at the home for the past six years. He had lived and farmed with his brother most of his life in the Dike vicinity.

He was a member of the Nazareth Lutheran church, Cedar Falls.

Survivors include his brother, C. W. Jensen and two sisters, Mrs. George C. Petersen, both of Cedar Falls and Mrs. E. M. Lindberg, West Covina, Calif. He was preceded by his parents and one sister.

Services were held at 1:30 p.m. at the Nazareth Lutheran church with Rev. Homer Larsen officiating. Burial was in the Fredsville cemetery.
