Isaac Niemann Dies in Hospital

Isaac Niemann, son of John and Grace Niemann, was born near Kesley, Iowa, Dec. 31, 1897. He moved with his parents to a farm near Dike, and later to Stout.

He was married to Cornelia Dirks on February 1, 1923, in the home of her sister, the Owen Rich home near Stout. They farmed for several years in the vicinity of Stout, later moving on a farm near Plainfield. They retired from the farm about 15 years ago, moving to Cedar Falls.

He died May 20, 1964, at Sartori hospital in Cedar Falls after a very brief illness. He reached the age of 66 years, 4 months and 20 days.

Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. William B. Lindaman; two grandchildren, Cheryl and Curtis; two sisters, Mrs. Tena Intermill, Bruce, So. Dak., and Mrs. Jennie Thomas of Waterloo; besides other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife on April 27, 1964, his parents, one grandchild, one brother, Albert; one sister, Mrs. Lena DeBoer.

Funeral services were held in Cedar Falls, and burial in the Stout cemetery.
