Sinning Funeral Held Wednesday

Surles Arnold Sinning, son of Harry and Louise Kies Sinning, was born at Ackley on November 7, 1918. He was baptized at East Friesland Presbyterian Church southwest of Ackley. He attended school at Cleves and graduated from Ackley High School. He also attended Business College at Marshalltown.

On March 5, 1944, he was united in marriage to Johanna Finger. To this union was born one son, Harold. On March 1, 1956 they moved to their farm west of Lime Springs.

Mr. Sinning is survived by his wife, Johanna; his son Harold; a daughter-in-law, Mickala; his mother, Mrs. Louise Sinning of Ackley; a sister, Bernice (Mrs. Woodrow Heitland), three brothers, Wilbert and Harry of Ackley and Floyd of Lime Springs. His father preceded him in death.

Mr. Sinning died suddenly of a heart attack at his home on Nov. 7. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Presbyterian Church in Lime Springs with burial in the East Friesland Presbyterian Church Cemetery of Ackley.
