Funeral Saturday For Mrs. Nederhoff At Ref. Church

Funeral services were held at 12:30 in the home and later in the Wellsburg Reformed Church last Saturday for Mrs. Carl O. Nederhoff, 84, who passed away Thursday morning of a heart attack.

Burial was in the Reformed Church cemetery, Rev. George C. Poppen officiating.

Casketbearers were Carl D. Janssen, Bernard J. Dirksen, Harry Kuper, Robert D. Janssen, Duane Babcock and Coert J. Nederhoff.

Music for the service was furnished by the Men's quartet, composed of Irwin Abels, Alle Murra, Ben VanDeest and Marvin Stahl. Organist was Marcella Neessen. Flower attendants were Mrs. Grace Heikens and Jessie Eekhoff.

Obituary
Ettje Bunger was born October 15, 1872 in Colfax township, daughter of Coert and Taalka Bunger. She spent her entire life in this section of the county.

She was united in marriage to Berend Eiten in 1892, and to this union was born one child, Gertie. Mr. Eiten passed away in 1897.

On February 5, 1901 she was married to Carl O. Nederhoff. The couple lived on a farm west of Wellsburg until Mr. Nederhoff died on June 24, 1944. She then made her home in Wellsburg.

Mrs. Nederhoff made her confession of faith in the First Christian Reformed Church, and on July 5, 1936 she was transferred to the Wellsburg Reformed Church. She was faithful in attending the house of God and dearly loved her Saviour. She was also a member of the Ladies Aid Society.

She is survived by five children: Mrs. Gertie Dirksen of Everly, Iowa; Mrs. Dick (Grace) Janssen; Tillie; Mrs. George (Susie) Paterni; and Coert C. Nederhoff, all of Wellsburg.

Other survivors include five brothers, A. C. Bunger, Harm Bunger, John Bunger, M. C. Bunger, and T. K. Bunger; one sister, Mrs. J. O. Nederhoff, eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, plus a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her two husbands, two brothers, Kuno Bunger, who died in infancy and L. C. Bunger, also one sister, Mrs. Hendrika Bakker.
