Mrs. Coono Stoehr Dies In Cedar Falls

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Stoehr were held at St. Paul's Lutheran church near Wellsburg last Friday afternoon. Burial was in the cemetery adjoining the church. Mrs. Stoehr died at her home in Cedar Falls on Tuesday of last week. The greater part of her life was spent on a farm in Grundy county. She was 76 years old. The Rev. Homer Larsen, pastor of the Nazareth Lutheran church, Cedar Falls, officiated at the service. Burial was in St. Paul's Lutheran church cemetery.

Mrs. Stoehr was born Oct. 31, 1885, in Grundy county, the daughter of George and Itena Schneiderman DeBuhr. She was married to Coono Stoehr June 23, 1906, in Grundy county. The couple had farmed near Wellsburg for many years.

She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church near Wellsburg. Mrs. Stoehr had lived in Cedar Falls since 1955.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Edith Rash, 725 Dena St., Waterloo; Grace Stoehr, 1205 Grand, Cedar Falls; Mrs. Arvilla Jabusch, Waterloo; and Mrs. Gertrude Crockett, Santa Clara, Cal.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded by her parents, husband and four sisters.
