Mrs. Huisman Dies At Parkersburg

Mrs. Henry Huisman died last Saturday at Parkersburg, following a long illness. She died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Rewerts. She was 36 years old.

Funeral services were held at the Engelkes Funeral home in Parkersburg at 1:15 Tuesday and later at St. Paul's Lutheran church in Shiloh township. Burial was in the cemetery adjoining the church.

Mrs. Huisman was born on a farm near Dike, Nov. 7, 1917. On Sept. 28, 1944, she was married to Henry Huisman. The couple farmed in the vicinity of Wellsburg since their marriage.

Surviving are the husband, a daughter Sandra Sue, and a son, Allen Jay; her parents; three brothers, Melvin, Wellsburg; Ernest and Cecil, Shell Rock; four sisters, Mrs. Harm Aukes, Parkersburg; Mrs. Frank Gieken, Wellsburg; Laura Rewerts and Mrs. Pete Evers, Parkersburg.
