Omke Harrenstein Dead

Omke Harrenstein died at his home near Greene, Iowa, Sunday night. He had an attack of tonsilitis which was followed by blood poisoning. He was sick but five days before the end came.

Funeral services were held at Greene this morning. The remains are being brought back to Grundy county. Services will be at the Heinrichs church in Shiloh township this afternoon. Burial will be made in the cemetery there.

Mr. Harrenstein lived in Grundy county the greater portion of his life. About fifteen years ago he and his family left here for Greene. They bought a farm adjoining the town and they have lived there continually. He was 55 years old. He is survived by his wife and four children, one son and three daughters. Other near relatives are his aged mother, four brothers and two sisters. The brothers are Ben, Claas, Herman and Bert, all of this county. The sisters are Mrs. Henry Groenewald and Mrs. Jake Rindels.
