Mrs. Heinrich Dies After Being Taken to Iowa Falls for Operation

Mrs. H. Heinrichs, wife of H. Heinrichs, was called home after a lingering illness, last Friday, at the hospital at Iowa Falls. About three weeks before her death an operation was necessary, which revealed a cancerous growth in the intestines. All was done to spare her comparatively young life but without avail.

Mrs. Heinrichs was born in Ostfriesland, Germany, September 22, 1872. In 1890 she was joined in marriage to Mr. H. Heinrichs who survives her. In 1891 the young couple moved to this country and settled in Grundy county. About two years ago they retired from the farm, and thought of enjoying the evening of life in our midst in Grundy Center, when the angel of death took her from us. She is survived by her bereaved husband, two sons, two daughters, her aged parents, Mr. and Mrs. Janssen, who live abroad, and other relatives.

Funeral services were held Tuesday in Rev. Sinning's church. Rev. Heinrichs and Rev. Sinning preached, assisted by Rev. W. Bode. Interment was in the Heinrich's church cemetery, near Wellsburg. The deceased was a true Christian, and died in full faith of Christ as her redeemer.
