Died--At her home in Shiloh township May 8th, Mrs. Terpke Brower age 80 years and 23 days. Interment at the Lutheran Church Cemetery May 11, 1897.

Miss B. Ackerman

Mrs. Mike Ackerman, living one mile north of Wellsburg, who was the victim of a stroke of paralysis, Monday, May 3d, died Saturday May 8th, age 80 years. She was one of the oldest settlers of the county, having moved on the old homestead at an early day. Her husband died ten years ago. She leaves five children--three boys and two girls--to mourn her loss. The funeral was held from the Lutheran church north of Wellsburg, Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, and was largely attended by relatives and sympathizing friends.
