Reinbeck Youth Is Suicide Victim

The body of a 19-year-old rural Reinbeck youth was found by members of his family about 4 a.m. Friday in a corn crib where he had hung himself.

Dennis E. Newell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Newell, was pronounced dead at the scene by the county medical examiner.

Funeral services for Newell were held Monday at the First Baptist church in Reinbeck with burial in the Washington Township Cemetery.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, David, at home.

The French Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
