Milvern Lau of Des Moines, a brother-in-law of Mrs. Manne Bakker, was killed in Colorado on Thursday. He was a maintenance man for the Rock Island railroad and had been called to Colorado because of a derailment. He fell from a boxcar and was killed. He is survived by his wife, the former Ruby McCulloch, three daughters and a son. Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Dunn Funeral Home at Des Moines. Burial was in the Washington township cemetery south of Morrison.
