Andrew Friedel, Of Cedar Falls, Is Buried Here

Funeral services for Andrew "Bill" Friedel, 47, of Cedar Falls, were held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls. Burial was in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery northeast of Wellsburg.

Mr. Friedel died at his home Wednesday afternoon following a lengthy illness.

He was born November 1, 1936 at Sioux City, the son of Herman and Hazel Friedel. On September 10, 1961 he was married to Delah Harms at Wellsburg. He retired from John Deere in 1971 because of poor health.

Survivors are his wife; a son, Michael; and a daughter, Tamera of Cedar Falls; 1 brother, George Friedel of LeMars and his stepfather, Alvin Bolte of Brookings, SD.
