Esther Muller Services Held

Esther A. Muller, 82, of Wellsburg died at Covenant Hospital in Waterloo on Friday, February 12 of cancer.

Funeral services were held on Monday, February 15 at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in rural Wellsburg at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Richard Dowling officiating.

Pallbearers were T.J. Kruse, Melvin Freese, Brent Harrenstein, Wayne Freese, Daryl Anderson, and Edward Bonefas.

Burial followed in the church cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established.

Esther was born on March 9, 1910, in Wellsburg the daughter of Herman and Alice (Terfehn) Harrenstein. Esther was educated in the rural Wellsburg schools.

On November 3, 1941, she was united in marriage to Chris Muller in Trenton, MO.

She leaves to mourn her family Alvin of Eagle Grove, Harris of Wellsburg, and Dennis Harrenstein of Ackley, Mabel Claassen of Wellsburg, Marjorie Teasdale of Grundy Center and LaVonne Kruse of Iowa Falls.

She was preceded in death by her husband Chris on May 3, 1973.

The Doyen-Abels Funeral Home in Wellsburg was in charge of the arrangements.
