Rites Held For Grace Stoehr

Grace Stoehr, 87, of Cedar Falls, died on Wednesday, September 10, 1997, at the Lutheran Home there. She formerly resided at 1205 Grand Blvd. at Cedar Falls.

She was born on June 10, 1910, in Grundy County, Iowa, daughter of Coono and Anna (DeBuhr) Stoehr. She married John C. Elliott. They were later divorced.

She was employed as a secretary at Bancroft Motors, then Ace Fogdahl Ford Motor Company, and later Ace Fogdahl RV, retiring in 1975. She was a past member of the Beta Sigma Phi Business Sorority and a member of Nazareth Lutheran Church.

Surviving are two sisters, Arvilla Jabusch of Waterloo, Iowa, and Gertrude Crockett of Hopkins, Minnesota.

Preceding her were her parents and one sister, Edith Bush.

Funeral services were held Saturday, September 13, at 10:30 a.m. at Nazareth Lutheran Church Chapel at Cedar Falls. The burial service was held at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery at rural Wellsburg. The Richardson Funeral Home at Cedar Falls was in charge of arrangements.
