Death Of Former Wellsburg Resident

Ursula Frye of Hanover, IL, formerly of Wellsburg, passed May 27, at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque.

She was born Ursula Hildegard Ann Schaeffer in Hamburg, Germany, on Oct. 18, 1941, to Willy August Ludwig Johann Ferdinand Schaeffer and Gertrude Ida Buchholz.

She worked at the George Ball Co. as accounts payable clerk; Chestnut Mountain Resort, and Eaton Corp. in Hanover, IL. Before retiring, she worked in the Elizabeth Nursing Home, among others.

Ursula was married to Mallam Robert Frye on Sept. 14, 1971. Mal passed away on July 15, 1993.

She is survived by her brother Ernst Schaeffer and wife Helgaa; and three nephews.

A memorial service for her will be held at a later date.
