Mrs. B. Kruger Dies Monday

Mrs. Barney (Ora) Kruger, 83, rural Holland, passed away Monday morning at the Grundy County Memorial Hospital. She had been a patient there for three or four days.

Services will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the Colfax Center Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in the Colfax Center Cemetery. She was a member of the Colfax Center Presbyterian Church since 1907.

She was born October 21, 1887 in Colfax township, Grundy county, Iowa, the daughter of John P. and Dena Andreessen Meints. On January 16, 1907 at the home farm in Colfax township she married Barney Kruger. On July 24, 1942 her husband passed away.

She is survived by three sons: Klaas C. Kruger, John P. Kruger and Bernard Kruger, all of Holland. There are four daughters: Mrs. George (Beredene) Harms, Mrs. Herman (Claradean) Harrenstein, Mrs. John J. (Onita) Meyer all of Holland and John J. (Neona) Seehusen of Grundy Center. There are 19 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 grandchildren, 2 brothers and 1 infant sister.

Engelkes-Abels Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
