Amanda Stahl Services Held

Amanda Lea Stahl, of Holland, passed away Tuesday, October 31, at her home in Holland having attained the age of 19 years and 29 days.

Funeral services were held on Friday, November 3, at Colfax Center Presbyterian Church in rural Holland at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Larry C. Hoop officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were Randy Konken, Jim Luiken, Kevin Gage, Carroll Troe, Dennis Stahl and Gary Heronimus.

A memorial fund has been established.

Born October 2, 1976, in Marshalltown, Amanda was the daughter of Curtis and Peg (Pruisner) Stahl. She received her education at Grundy Center Community School, graduating with the Class of 1995. Most recently, Amanda attended Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo, where she was studying to be an executive secretary.

Amanda was a member of Colfax Center Presbyterian Church in rural Holland. Her interests included listening to music, bowling- she received the "Most Improved Bowler" award her first year, cruising with friends and race cars. Amanda was a devoted Jeff Gordon fan.

Survivors include her parents, Curt and Peg Stahl of Holland; 1 brother, Ryan Stahl, and 1 sister, Alonna Stahl, both of home; maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Berdene Pruisner of rural Dike; and paternal grandparents, Alvin and Grace Stahl of Holland.

The Engelkes-Abels Funeral Home, Grundy Center, was in charge.
