Funeral For Harm Peters On Thursday

Harm H. Peters passed away Sunday, April 15 at the Marshalltown Area Community Hospital, Marshalltown.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 19 at 10:30 a.m. at the Andrle & Creps Funeral Home, Eldora. Rev. Howard Eldenkamp will officiate and Mrs. Leona Froning will be the organist.

Military services will be given by Walter Sayer Post of the American Legion, Eldora.

Honorary casket bearers will be Floyd Gaede, Jesse Braga, Cecil Kinney, Arlo Rosburg, Jim Boyd and Ken Collins.

Casket bearers will be Dennis Reece, Darrell Koch, Floyd Luiken, Charles Juel, Jerry Kramer and Troy Anderson.

Mrs. Cecil Kinney and Mrs. Ken Collins will be in charge of the floral arrangements.

Burial will be in the Reformed Church Cemetery, Wellsburg.

Mr. Peters was born March 18, 1914, in Wellsburg, the son of Harm and Elsie Huisman Peters. He attained the age of 70 years. He went to school in Wellsburg and served in World War II.

On July 18, 1963, at Broken Bow, NE, he was united in marriage to Mildred Winkel of Conrad. He worked at Infant Seat and Dodger Manufacturing.

He was a member of the American Legion and Ducks Unlimited.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Jake Peters, and one sister, Emma Cogswell.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred of Eldora; one brother, Jerry Peters of Grundy Center; two sisters, Mrs. Tillie Bausman of Eldora and Mrs. Lydia Bausman of Grundy Center; one sister-in-law, Martha Peters of Wellsburg; and by many nieces and nephews.

The Andrle & Creps Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
