Mrs. John Cobie Died Monday At Her Home

Mrs. John Cobie died at her home in Ackley on Monday. She had been in failing health a number of years. She was 67 years old.

Mrs. Cobie was born in German township and she spent all of her life there until four years ago when she and her husband moved to Ackley. Her maiden name was Margaret Heikens. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Heikens.

Funeral services will be in the Presbyterian church of German township. Burial will be in the cemetery adjoining the church.

Surviving are the husband, two sons and two daughters. The sons are George, who lives on the home farm in German township, and Joe, who is farming in the same neighborhood. The daughters are Mrs. John R. Lindaman and Mrs. Gerald Hook, both of German township. Other relatives are 5 grandchildren, four brothers and three sisters.
