Roy Huddleston Died in Florida

Roy Huddleston, 73, of Sun City Center, Florida, died Wednesday, Nov. 13 following a lingering illness from cancer. Memorial services were held at Sun City Center Saturday. The cremated remains will be interred at the Shiloh township cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. Huddleston moved from Decatur, Ill. to Florida seven years ago. While in Illinois he was employed by the McMillan Publishing Company, publishers of school books. He graduated from Parsons college at Fairfield. He was superintendent of schools at Martinsburg, Iowa at the time he met his wife, Alene Hook, who was teaching school there. They were married at Reasner, Iowa.

Survivors include his wife, Alene, and two children, Jack Huddleston of White Bear Lake, Minn., a daughter, Mrs. James (Jean) Amlicke of Battle Creek, Mich., and five grandchildren.

Mr. Huddleston was a brother-in-law of Benjamin Hook of Wellsburg, Mrs. William M. Ross of Grundy Center and Mrs. Gertrude Ornduff of Kokomo, Ind.
