Jason Davis Services Held

Jason Davis, of Waterloo, formerly of Wellsburg, passed away Thursday, May 12, at his home in Waterloo, having attained the age of 20 years, 1 month and 24 days.

Funeral services were held Monday, May 16, at 1:30 p.m. at the St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran church, rural Wellsburg, with Pastor Richard Dowling officiating.

Serving as pallbearers were Greg Winger, Jason Redix, Joe Garcia, Toby Lauterbach, Robert Todd and Shane Evans.

Burial followed in the Shiloh Township Cemetery, Wellsburg.

Jason was born in Marshalltown on March 18, 1974, the son of Keith and Darlene Davis. He received his education at Wellsburg Community School. He was employed by IBP in Waterloo.

He was preceded in death by his father, Keith and grandfather, Carl Davis.

Survivors include his mother, Darlene of Wellsburg; one brother, Derek Davis (Janelle) of Denison; one sister, Jamie Davis of Wellsburg; maternal grandparents, Raymond and Donna Muller of Grundy Center; paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Davis of Shell Rock; and three nephews, Andrew, Nicholas, and Alexander Davis.

The Doyen-Abels Funeral Home in Wellsburg was in charge of the arrangements.
