Robert G. Brewer, 72, Dallas Center died of a heart ailment Thursday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Dallas Center Church of the Brethern, with burial in Brethren Cemetery.

Mr. Brewer, a farmer and lifelong resident of Dallas Center, was an Air corps veteran of World War II and a member of the Church of the Brethren and Masonic Lodge.

Among survivors are his wife, Ruth; a daughter, Ardelis Miller of Beaman; a son, Dan, and a brother, Glen, both of Dallas Center; five sisters, Lela Bartholomew of Gresham, Ore., Pauline Nissly of Minburn, Rowena Baldner of Dallas Center, Margaret Lawson of Walnut Creek, Calif., and Betty Coe of Portland, Ore.; and five grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Brandt Funeral Home.
