RHODES - Keith S. Good, 84, of Rhodes, died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 1999, at the Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Rhodes United Methodist Church with the Rev. Pasha Buck officiating. Burial will follow in Eden Cemetery, Rhodes. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 13 at Pursel-Davis Funeral Home & Crematory, where the family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial fund has been established.

He was born on June 11, 1915, in Collins to Maynard and Florence (Wiese) Good. He was raised and educated in the Collins and Rhodes areas, graduating from Rhodes consolidated Schools. Following high school he worked for a short time at the Munitions Plant in Ankeny.

He married Harriett E. Swalwell on Oct. 11, 1936, in State Center. He farmed for a short time prior to going to work for Swift and Company, where he worked for over 30 years while continuing to work as a hired farm hand.

Survivors include his wife, Harriett; a daughter, Norma (Mrs. Larry) Kiser of Baxter; a son, Joe (Judy) of Miami, Okla.; two sisters, Dorthea Appel of Grundy Center and Jean (Mrs. Richard) Sheare of Marshalltown; a brother, Ronald (Gerry) of Marshalltown; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
