Lena Krull Services Held

Lena Krull, 82, of Wellsburg, died Friday, February 19, in Eldora of cancer.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 22 at the Second Christian Reformed Church in Wellsburg with Pastor Thomas Vos officiating.

Pallbearers were Rob Cordes, Randy Cordes, Andrew Cordes, Bryon Hook, Steve Gehrke and Lance Van Deest.

Burial followed in Shiloh Township Cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established.

Lena was born August 14, 1910, in Grundy County the daughter of Jerry and Frieda Riekena Williams. She attended the Shiloh township school and graduated from Wellsburg High School. On October 3, 1939, she was united in marriage to John Krull, Jr. in Nashua.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Ken (Glenda) Cordes of Wellsburg and Mrs. Jim (Shirley) Van Deest of Grundy Center; one sister, Hilda Riebkes of Wellsburg; 6 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Krull, Jr. on March 7, 1992; her parents; and 2 brothers, Will and Harry.

The Doyen-Abels Funeral Home in Wellsburg was in charge of the arrangements.
