Anna Conradi Services Held

Anna (Meyer) Conradi passed away on July 31 at the Grundy County Memorial Hospital in Grundy Center of natural causes having attained the age of 89 years.

Funeral services were held Monday, August 3 at 1:30 p.m. at the Holland Christian Reformed Church in Holland with the Rev. John Kroon officiating.

Pallbearers were Jeff Graham, Steve Graham, Curtis Graham, Bill Mohlis, Brad Conradi, and Delbert Meyer.

Interment followed at the Colfax Presbyterian Church Cemetery, rural Holland.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

Anna was born in Colfax Township on October 15, 1902, to Deddo and Ella (Frankin[sic]) Meyer. She grew up in Colfax Township and attended the country schools there. She was united in marriage to John Conradi December 8, 1920, in the Colfax Presbyterian Church. To this union four children were born: Leland, Roland, Colleen, and Darius. Anna and John farmed in the Holland area.

Anna was a homemaker and was a member of the Holland Christian Reformed Church in Holland.

Anna was preceded in death by her husband, John on January 14, 1991; a daughter Phyliss in infancy; her parents; a sister, Grace; and three brothers, Tom, Eldrich and Albert.

She is survived by her three sons: Leland and Roland of Holland and Darius and wife Joan of Waverly; daughter Colleen Graham of St. Louis, Missouri; two brothers: William and Alvin Meyer, both of Holland, six sisters: Mrs. Alice Heid of Reinbeck, Mrs. Ralph (Elizabeth) Murphy of Holland, Mrs. Tena Mohlis of Dike, Mrs. LaVern (Marion) Dieken of Fort Collins, Colorado, Mrs. Calvin (Lorraine) Heronimus and Mrs. Dale (Lavine) Weichers, all of Loveland, Colorado; 9 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

The Engelkes-Abels Funeral Home of Grundy Center was in charge of the arrangements.
