Annie Buskohl, 85, of Holland died Sunday, September 5, 1999, at the Dumont Care Center in Dumont of natural causes.

Annie was born January 14, 1914, in German Township, Grundy County, the daughter of Menno and Annie (Lindaman) Buskohl. She had been a resident of the Dumont Care Center since 1969.

Annie is survived by one brother, Bernard and his wife, Ethel of Holland; two nieces, Shirley Luwe and her husband, Shelby of Burnsville, MN, and Betty Kruse and her husband, Charles of Holland; one nephew, Kenneth Buskohl and his wife, Sharlene of Grundy Center; and five great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Ettie and Carrie Buskohl.

Funeral services were held at the Colfax Center Presbyterian Church in rural Holland on Wednesday, September 8 at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Larry Hoop officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Kenneth Buskohl, Kyle Buskohl, Charles Kruse, Craig Buskohl, Mark Buskohl, and Shelby Luwe.

A memorial fund has been established.

Engelkes-Abels Funeral Home in Grundy Center was in charge of the arrangements.
