Mrs. Ralston's Services Set
Services for Lucile J. (Mrs. Donald R.) Ralston, 73, will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Alice Church of God, of which she was a member. The Rev. Gerald Gibson will officiate, and burial will be in the Alice Cemetery north of Conrad.
Mrs. Ralston died Wednesday in the Marshalltown hospital, where she had been taken the day before. She was born in Marshalltown July 16, 1909[sic], to Otto and Alva M. Lane John and graduated from the Green Mountain school in 1925. She and Mr. Ralston were married in Marshalltown Sept. 21, 1940, and always lived in Conrad and Marshalltown.
She was a member of the Blue Star Mothers, a past state officer of that organization and a member of Navy Mothers and the WCSC.
Surviving are her husband; four sons, John Ralston of Honolulu, Gerald of Ida Grove, Donald G. of Conrad and Robert of Marshalltown; two daughters, Betty (Mrs. Maurice) Ruddick of Laurel and Phyllis (Mrs. Max) Pottle of Oakdale, Calif.; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A son, 7, two grandchildren, a sister and a brother preceded her in death.
Johnston Funeral Home has charge of services.
