Services Held for David Kell
David B. Kell, 82, passed away Sunday, January 13, at Chris Ridge Care Center in Phoenix, AZ, where he had been for about two months.
Services were held January 16, at the Alice Church of God, at 1:30 p.m., with Pastor James Snare officiating.
Casket bearers were Randy Kell, Jerry Kell, Brent Kell, Dave Kell, Roger Bristley, and Donald Ralston, Jr.
Organist was Dorothy Callaway and a duet was sung by Mary Ralston and Cora Katzer.
Burial was in the Alice Cemetery, in Conrad. The Committal services were conducted by the Emerald Masonic Lodge #334, A.F. & A.M.
David was born to Brady C. and Annetta Kell, on Tuesday, September 29, 1908, in Walnut, PA. He graduated from Conrad High School in 1927.
On September 30, 1929, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, he was united in marriage to Hazel Klinefelter. They farmed in rural Grundy Center until 1966, at that time they moved to rural Conrad.
David was a member of the Emerald Lodge #334, and belonged to the Conrad Lions Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and two brothers.
Surviving him are his wife, Hazel of Conrad; one son Delbert, of Des Moines; one daughter, Barbara Madany, of Phoenix, AZ; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
Johnston Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.
