Rites Held for Carolyn Deters

Funeral services for Carolyn Deters, 71, of Arlington, Texas, were held on Tuesday, October 10, at 10 a.m. at Moore Memorial Gardens at Arlington. She died on October 7, 1995.

Carolyn Deters was born on August 22, 1924, at Steamboat Rock, Iowa. She was the only child of Adolph and Grace (Eckhoff) Deters. She graduated from Wellsburg High School and from the Marshalltown Evangelical Nursing School. She was a member of the Second Christian Reformed Church of Wellsburg. She was a Registered Nurse at the Grundy County Memorial Hospital until moving to Arlington, Texas, in 1965.

She is survived by three children: Perry Paxton of Millbrook, Alabama; Palmer Paxton of Allen, Texas; and Kathiann Dailey of Arlington, Texas. Also surviving are five grandchildren.
