Wellsburg Woman Dies Monday at Independence

Mrs. John Hickman died Monday at Independence, where she was confined during the past nine years. She had been in poor health for some time. She was 70 years old. The remains were sent to the home at Wellsburg Tuesday. Funeral services conducted by Rev. Wm. Landsiedel were held there Wednesday afternoon.

The Hickman family came to Wellsburg fourteen years ago. Mrs. Hickman's husband died in 1907. There are three surviving daughters, Alena, Dalie, and Tillie.
