Margaret E. Chandler

Margaret E. Chandler, 85, of 5725 Woodland Road died of a heart attack Monday at Woodbury West Health Center, 1211 Vine St., West Des Moines. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Highland Park Funeral Home, with burial at Elmwood Cemetery in Dike.

Mrs. Chandler was born in Blairsburg and had lived in Dike before moving to Des Moines 34 years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of the Grace United Methodist Church.

She is survived by a son, Richard of Des Moines, and a sister, Ann Allen of Des Moines.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
