Harry Beving Services Thurs.

Harry Beving, age 87, of Ackley passed away on November 11 at the Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo.

Harry was born on May 12, 1904 the son of Ubbe Beving and Elizabeth Bunjer in Ackley. He attended the German Twsp. Schools and later Gates College. On September 5, 1929 Harry was united in marriage to Pauline Fritz at the East Friesland Parsonage rural Ackley.

Harry was a member of the East Friesland Presbyterian Church of rural Ackley where he served as an Elder. He was employed as a farmer.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline; his parents; a daughter, Lavonn Aldinger; four grandchildren in infancy; a brother, Art Beving; and a sister Jennie Flesner.

Harry is survived by two sons, Virgil Beving and Eugene Beving both of Ackley; one daughter, Paulett Courtney of Waterloo; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a brother, Joe Beving of Ackley and a sister, Luella Fritz of Ackley.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 14 at 1:30 p.m. at the East Friesland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Tim Olsen officiating. Interment will be in the East Friesland Cemetery, rural Ackley.

Brandt-Fritz Funeral Home in Ackley is in charge of the arrangements.
