Graveside Services Set Friday For Janeen Wical

A graveside memorial service will be held on Friday, May 22, at 1:30 p.m. for the late Janeen Wical at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Grundy Center.

Janeen was born September 4, 1945, in Grundy Center, the daughter of Orville and Burnius Hawn Akers. She graduated from Grundy Center High School, and married Donald Wical of Grundy Center. To the couple were born two children, Patty and Gary. In 1972, the family moved from Grundy Center to New Hartford. Later, Janeen moved to North Carolina, where she was living at the time of her death, December 13, 1997.

Janeen is survived by her children, Patty and her husband Ed Carle and grandson Lee, all of Buhl, Idaho, and by Gary Wical of Livingston, Montana; a brother, Gordon Akers of Grundy Center; and a sister, Pam McKellvey of Stuart.

Preceding her in death were her husband; parents; and a sister, Nancy.
