Peterson, both of Stout, his parents and one sister, Mrs. Henry Hessinius having preceded him in death. The deceased reached the age of 56 years, 5 moths and 20 days. He died of a cancer and suffered intensely, death coming as a great relief. The funeral was held at Stout Reformed church by Rev. Siemsen's, December 22, 1921. A large crowd attended the funeral to pay a last tribute to the deceased. He was of a quiet disposition, trying to keep peace with everyone.
