Emil Wickers, the 13 year old son of Mrs. Delia Wickers, died at his home in Beaver township, Saturday afternoon, after being sick a week with lung fever. Funeral services will be held at the home Thursday at one o'clock, and later at the Siemsen church. The family has the community's sympathy in their sad hour.

The funeral of Emil Wickers, the 13 year old son of Mrs. W. Wickers, who lives north of Fern, will take place at the Rev. Siemson church this Thursday. His sudden death came as a great shock to the people of this community. He was sick but a short time with diabetes, and on last Friday he took sick with la grippe and on the following day he passed away. He leaves to mourn his sad departure, his mother, two sisters and two brothers, his father having preceded him in death a year ago.

The people of the Stout vicinity were greatly shocked to hear of the sudden death of Emil, the 13-year-old son of Mrs. W. Wickers, who passed away to the great beyond last Saturday after a day's sickness with the grippe. The boy was also sick with diabetes, but this was not known before his death, altho he had not been in his usual good health of late. Funeral services will be held this Thursday at the Rev. Siemsen church, where he will be laid to rest beside a sister and his father, who preceded him in death a year ago last December. He leaves his bereaved mother, two sisters and two brothers to mourn his early departure. The heartfelt sympathy of this community is extended to the bereaved relatives in this time of sadness.
