Mrs. Henry Flessner

Died at Family Home Near Cleves, Sunday Last; Burial Wednesday

The death of Mrs. Henry Flessner occurred at the family home six miles southeast of Ackley, Sunday morning at about 5 o'clock. She had not been well for the past fourteen years, with a complication of ailments.

Deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Casper Jutting, among the first of north Hardin county residents. She was in her 42nd year. Surviving her are her aged parents, her husband, two daughters, seven brothers and two sisters. She was united in marriage to Henry Flessner twenty years ago; they were happily married and comfortably situated, esteemed by the entire community of which they have been a part for so many years. The immediate cause of death was pneumonia; her critical illness continued through one week.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at East Friesland German Presbyterian church, in German twonship; the services were conducted by Rev. H. W. Engelke, the pastor, the remains interred in the cemetery adjoining the church in German township.

Mrs. Henry Cobie of Ackley, is a sister; the brothers are Titus, Ubbe, John, Will and Dick. The funeral services were largely attended by friends.
