Mrs. Menno Van Loh
Fall From Cherry Tree and Broken Leg Results in Death

Mrs. Menno Van Loh, who died Tuesday at the Iowa Falls hospital, due to gangrene which set in after the amputation of a leg, which she broke when she fell out of a cherry tree, Saturday, as reported in last Thursday's World-Journal, was buried Friday afternoon. Funeral services were held at the East Friesland Presbyterian church, in German township, with Rev. Calvin Siemsen officiating.

Mrs. Van Loh was born Henrietta Krull Sept. 15, 1898, near Cleves. She was married to Menno Van Loh in December 1920. The couple have lived on their farm eight and one-half miles southeast of Ackley.

Mrs. Van Loh is survived by her husband and five children at home, Helen, Hannah, JOhn, Everdena and Esther, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Evert Krull of Buffalo Center, and six sisters and three brothers.

She Passed Away Sunday Following An Operation At The Hospital In Iowa Falls

Was Forty-One Years Old

Her Untimely Death Is Mourned By Her Relatives And A Great Circle Of Friends

Mrs. Menno Van Loh, who died Tuesday, July 2, at the Iowa Falls hospital, due to gangrene which set in after the amputation of a leg, which she broke when she fell out of a cherry tree Saturday, was buried last Friday afternoon, July 5. Funeral services were held at the East Friesland Presbyterian church, five miles northwest of Wellsburg, with Rev. Calvin Siemsen in charge. Mrs. Van Loh was a member of this church. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Van Loh was born Henrietta Krull, Sept. 15, 1898, near Cleves. She was married to Menno Van Loh in December, 1920. The couple lived ever since on their farm four and one-half miles northwest of Wellsburg.

Mrs. Van Loh is survived by her widower and five children at home, Helen, Hannah, John, Everdena and Esther, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Evert Krull of Buffalo Center, and six sisters and three brothers.

The brothers and sisters are as follows: Tjark Krull, Henry Krull, Fred Krull, of Buffalo Center, Mrs. Loren Cady, Fort Dodge, Mrs. Oscar Anderson, Mrs. Bennett Bruns, Mrs. Fred Friech, Mrs. Raymond Millbrand, and Mrs. Fred Hippen, Buffalo Center.

Mrs. Van Loh will be greatly missed in the community in which she has made her home for a score of years. She has proven herself to be a good neighbor, ever kind and thoughtful, and always willing to led her assistance to those in trouble and always taking her part in every forward movement in her community.

Her friends and relatives, of which she had a large circle will miss her and mourn her untimely passing. The Herald adds a word of consolation to the bereaved family and friends.
