Frances A. Primus, 74, of Wellsburg died Saturday, December 18, 1999 at her home in Wellsburg of cancer.

Frances was born in rural Wellsburg on November 7, 1925 the daughter of Oldig O. and Ada (Dresselhuis) Nederhoff. She was educated at the Pine Creek Country School. On June 29, 1945 she was united in marriage to Claus G. Primus on the homeplace S.W. of Wellsburg. They farmed all their lives. They moved to Wellsburg in August of 1982. Frances was a member of the First Christian Reformed Church in Wellsburg. In the church she was involved as a Sunday School Teacher and the Queen Esther Society.

Frances was a member of the Timothy Sisters Society. She very much enjoyed her family, her home and working in her backyard.

Frances is survived by her husband Claus of Wellsburg; one son, Rollin and his wife Bern of Steamboat Rock and their three children, Jennifer, Joseph, and Jessica Primus; one daughter, Rhonda Groninga and her husband Randy of Wellsburg and their daughter Natalie Groninga; three sisters, Ordie Eekhoff and her husband Harold of Wellsburg, Inez Deters and her husband Rodney of Wellsburg and Donna Blythe of Wellsburg; one brother, Carl Nederhoff and his wife Kate of Wellsburg; two sisters in law, Florence Nederhoff and Rhea Nederhoff both of Wellsburg; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Grace Luppen and Etta Heikens and two brothers, Edward Nederhoff and Willis Nederhoff.
