Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Ivester Church of the Brethren for Mrs. Frances L. Button, 83, who died Monday afternoon at the Grundy County Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Button had been a patient at the hospital the past seven weeks.

Rev. John Ditmars will officiate the service. Burial will be in the Sheller cemetery.

Frances Miller was born July 13, 1883, in Melrose township, the daughter of William and Mary Miller. She spent her entire life in the Ivester community.

She married R. W. Button on February 28, 1907, in Melrose township.

Survivors include one daughter, Gladys, Mrs. Glenn Moats, Grundy Center; three sons, Glenn Button of Eldora, Dale Button of Pomona, Calif., and Dean Button of Pocahontas.

Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. Byrd Meyers of Eldora; 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and four sisters.
