Rose Ganschow Dies at C. Falls

Miss Rose Ganschow, 75, died at 8 p.m. Monday at her home at 1409 Iowa St. Death was attributed to ailments incident to advanced age. She was born May 9, 1879, at Grundy Center, the daughter of Ernest and Sophia (Eck) Ganschow. She came to Cedar Falls with her parents in 1898 and spent the rest of her life here.

She is survived by two sisters, Miss Carrie Ganschow, 1409 Iowa, and Mrs. Emma Nelson, Chicago, Ill.

She was a member of First Evangelical United Brethren church.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Nelson funeral home, conducted by the Rev. J. L. LaFavre. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery.
