Arlene Ghoske, age 77, of Iowa Falls, died on Saturday, February 28, 2009 at her home. Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Tuesday at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Iowa Falls with burial in the Northlawn Memory Gardens, Iowa Falls. Visitation will be 4-7 P.M. Monday at the Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls.

Minnie Arlene Ghoske was born on October 4, 1931 in Wellsburg, Iowa, the daughter of Peter and Gladys (Wolf) Borchers. She graduated from the Iowa Falls High School. On December 12, 1953 Arlene was united in marriage to Robert Ghoske in Ackley. She was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Iowa Falls.

Arlene is survived by her husband, Robert; a daughter, Ann R. Ghoske of Cedar Rapids; a son, Allen D. Ghoske of Iowa Falls; a brother, Albert Borchers of Ackley and a sister-in-law, Ann Borchers of Waterloo.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Russell Borchers; and a sister-in-law, Gertrude Borchers.
