Funeral services for Mrs. Clara North, 86, who lived her entire life on a Rt. 4 farm, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Evangelical United Brethren Church, the Rev. Don Iles officiating.

Mrs. North died at 6 p.m. Thursday at her farm home. Burial will be in Fairfield cemetery. The Dahl Funeral Home has charge of arrangement.

She was born April 24, 1879, the daughter of Morris and Carolyn Wagner in a log cabin on the farm where she died.

She was married to Clarence H. North Feb. 22, 1905, in Cedar Falls. They farmed on the home farm until he died in 1962.

Mrs. North was a teacher in Grundy Center for a time as a young woman. She attended the old normal school in Cedar Falls.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Walter Grau, a sister, Carolyn Wagner, both of Rt. 4.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and George, and a sister, Mrs. Emma Belz.
