SUDDEN DEATH ENDS SUFFERING

Mrs. Mary Wright Expires While Being Assisted by Husband from one Room in Home to Another

Cedar Falls, August 30.—Death has relieved Mrs. Eugene Wright of her earthly sufferings after a long and painful illness lasting for more than a year. The end coming quietly and peacefully at the home on Clay street Friday evening and while not unexpected yet came as a crushing blow to the husband and daughter who have constantly administered to the every want of their loved one during her long illness. Throughout the day she seemed to be much improved. Death claimed her while her husband was assisting her to an adjoining room. She expired in his arms.

Obituary

Miss Mary Hemmerling was born in Germany 63 years ago. When a child she came to this country with her parents settling on a farm in Grundy County where she grew to young womanhood. Forty-one years ago she was united in marriage to Eugene Wright. To this union four children were born, two of whom preceded the mother in death many years ago.

The surviving children are: Arthur of Richfield, Idaho, and Ada at home, who with the bereaved husband mourn the passing of a devoted and self-sacrificing mother. About twenty years ago the family removed from the farm to this city. In her lifetime Mrs. Wright was prominently identified with church work being a faithful attendant of the Baptist church and also was an active member of the W. R. C. Pending the arrival of the son, Arthur the funeral arrangements are not completed but will most likely occur Tuesday afternoon.
