Unusual Solemnization of Marriage Rites in Grundy County Community -- State News.

A triple wedding occurred Thursday morning at the home of Mrs. Weigman north of Wellsburg in which the mother and two daughters became brides. H. A. Schafer and Mrs. Jacob Weigman, Hemmo Beck and Johanna Weigman and John Schipper and Henrietta Weigman were united in marriage by Rev. Fred Schafer of Aplington, a cousin of one of the grooms. Mr. and Mrs. Schafer left last night for Monroe, S. D., Mr. and Mrs. Beck will make their home in the north part of German township and Mr. and Mrs. Schipper will live over the line in Butler county. Only the members of the family were present. H. A. Schafer, a brother of Chris Schafer, is well known here and the Weigman family are also well known residents of Shiloh township.
