Hello. I am searching for information regarding the father of George Victor HAUPTMAN. I have information that George was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 17 June 1869. I also have census information that has his mother listed as Sylvia HAUPTMAN in 1880 Iowa census as a widow. I’m unsure if his father died before or after their move to Iowa. From following census records it seems as though George remained in Iowa until his death in 1943 with several census records showing his residence as Jefferson, Greene County, Iowa. I would appreciate any information on George’s father/Sylvia’s HAUPTMAN husband. Thank you for any information you may have.
