OBITUARY

William Henry Andrew, son of George and Caroline Andrew was born in Clayton County, August 4th 1853. Departed this life at his home southeast of Churdan May 29, 1915, at the age of 62 years, 9 months and 25 days.

He was united in marriage with Martha E. Flack, April 8, 1877. Seven children, four boys and three girls, were born of this union; Marshal H.; Maurice E.; Wildia J.; Mahlon T. who died in infancy, Merton A.; Pearl E. and Mattie M. Besides the children he leaves a devoted wife, one brother, two sisters, seven grandchildren and a host of friends to mourn his loss.

The children were all permitted to be with him during his last sickness. Mr. Andrew suffered a great deal during his last days. Everything was done that loving hands could do to relieve his suffering, but the life could not be spared.

Funeral services were held at the Baptist church, Monday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Yearnd. His remains were laid to rest in the Highland Cemetery at this place.
