FINAL RITES FOR MRS. MARY WRIGHT

Final rites for Mrs. Mary E. Wright, 76, were conducted at the First Baptist Church in Churdan December 5 with the Rev. Gregory H. Berkey officiating. Interment was in Highland township cemetery.

Soloist was Mrs. Berkey with Mrs. Curtis Wilson at the organ. Casket bearers included Cecil, Darwin, Byron, Harold and Alfred Flack and Ralph Yeager.

Mary Elizabeth Flack Wright, daughter of Alfred Thomas and Mary Luella Andrew Flack, was born January 24, 1896 in Bristol Township in Greene County, Iowa.

She received her schooling in Bristol Township and had always lived in Greene county. She moved to Churdan several years ago, where she had since made her home. She passed away December 2, 1972 at the Greene County Medical Center in Jefferson at the age of 76 years, 10 months and 8 days.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a five year old daughter, Rhea Luella Wright in 1927, a grandson Tommy Wright in 1971, a sister Lydia Hurdel, five brothers, Roy, Ralph, Alta, Floyd and Dewey Flack.

She leaves two sons and daughters-in-laws, Rex and Norman Wright of Waco, Texas, and Keith and Rhetta Wright of Churdan, five granddaughters, Gloria Street and Kathy Roberts of Dallas, Texas, Deborah, Teresa and Casandra Wright of Churdan, four great grandchildren, one brother Alva Flack of Jefferson, three sisters, Laura, Mrs. Frank Yeager; Ruth, Mrs. Glen Wing of Rockwell City and Miss Ruby Flack of Churdan and several nieces and nephews.

She was a faithful member of the Churdan Baptist Church.
